Emoji-code

Emojis hieroglyphics and mandarin: devolving back into pictures instead of words and are signs simpler

Language has evolved slowly from art to symbols to words. Words have become the necessary interpretation of phenomena for millennium. Recently symbols have resurfaced in every day lingo. As texting has become the new frenzy acronyms (lol, rotl etc.) and now emojis replace words. Articulating emotion through illustrated symbols.

Symbols are commonplace as expression. They add flare to the text. Exclamation points are but limited in pitch but require the reader to imagine. The emoji acts as an extension. Congratulating someone may follow with a bottle of champagne and exploding ribbons. The emojis properly contextualize the statement. Its emphasis is tied to an emotional visual. To some extent it is superfluous. Writing sounds good and adding a thumbs up or it’s a deal and adding the handshake symbol is unnecessary. replacing words with symbols is new. It hijacks communication to be transmitted in code. The code is obvious. These are pictographs but even simpler. They are generated identical with the realistic experience. Unlike hieroglyphics the simple mode of emoji use is simple redirection. it’s not necessarily easier since it is quicker to type thanks or got it than place a thumbs up. There is more emphasis from the symbol.

Emoji quizzes have popped up asking contestants to interpret the consecutive symbols into a sentence. Encrypting the code is akin to hieroglyphs. The simplicity of writing a few symbols than writing out a thought is ease but the reader has to understand the lingo. The shared imagery must have the same comprehension. It is possible that emojis may act as a bridge between languages. Yet like the hieroglyphics the images were also sounds that combined to mean something different. Images are translated differently and thus have a different sounds. Those who spoke Egyptian could understand the picture by sounding out the images. This mode of encryption is logographic but finds more similarities with the Japanese kanji than Chinese. The Japanese rely on combining sounds so too this quiz game does the same by lining up symbols to be sounded together to make a coherent sentence.

Even if the images mean the word and not sounds. The picture must filter. Not everyone views the same image in the same way. The image is known to all but understood differently. Symbols are universal but interpretation is personal. The subjective element is tribal per ideology. The middle finger is a western curse symbol while in the east the pinky is curse. Some symbols are vague and unclear: the high five can be praying hands or hello. If a single emoji can be interpreted differently the sequence will be further hair-scratching. The symbols of the unconscious are selective as is the linguistic element. Each person relates to signs in various capacities. The comprehensive subjectivity fails to formulate a universal language. A mishap of globalized aspiration. An ideal underestimated by cultural independence.

The chiastic structure has finally made it full circle. Pictographs have returned. 2000 BCE and 2000 CE maybe but 3000 signs will be written without any letters. The transition from written to typed has elevated the everyday conversation. Ancient illiteracy was compensated by pictures. Writing was an advanced form of communication. Coordinating complexity could only be done by hand. It was no longer the personal or even communal but trans-cultural. Writing was a form guided communication. Just think if the Bible was pictographs or emojis—though society may not be too far from that. A bible emoji that doesn’t have emojis as flare at the end of a sentence but replace the words. Pictographs are signs in place of letters. The full switch will rid letters as limited in scope and inconsiderate in proper feeling. Then again the signs are only as dead petite as the oral community assigns to them. Letters are a ruled structure that carries weight to simple explanation. Tone is absent the morphemes but punctuation  salvages the impression.

From clay to parchment to paper. From quills to pens to typewriters. The progression to simpler writing has encapsulated man’s ability to communicate. The more frequent textuality required easier substances to write. The nature of letters was an ethos of common liturgical communication. Yet the ease of writing signs was more difficult with clay than the cursive lettering. Parchment and paper were flimsier fabrics and a typewriter is merely techno-shapes imprinted on the paper. It is ultimately, the imprint of the letter on the typewriter that offers the sign to return. Urbanization and expansion led to extensive analysis which needed cohesive lettering. A distinguishing mark that accounted for the complexity of culture and civilisation. Yet the onslaught of the most techno friendly has the most juggernaut symbolism. The digitised monitoring reveals the simplicity of global communication.

The digital communication evolved from typewriting letters to typing emails. Texting is the next wave in the evolution. Email is still used as a formal communicative engine as texting lighter and casual. Emails are for school and texting is for friends. Though millennials grew up on aol, e-mail has captured work and texting is more intimate. The ease of texting is but it’s utility. There is a manner of deconstruction where long winded exchanges become simple sentences. Reading old letters are poetic (though may be the few that are taught) while today is straight to the point. The jargon has declined and simplistic narration is the route of the masses. Fourth grade level English is regurgitated in conversations. Dialogues are not of the philosophers but of the playroom.

Humans didn’t become stupider. This isn’t some sort of decline of the generations theme. Humanity has cultivated some of the most evolutionary gadgets in the past decades then ever in history. The explosion of human innovation is wild since the post-war era. Even more since the 90s. The symbolic resurfacing is akin to the simplicity of communication. The global world has never been so close. With social media it only tightens. Civilization is complex but people are simple. They speak the language of the internet. The language of homogeneity. Emojis aren’t just a globalized unification sign but a measure of easing the burden of elongated  notes. To cover the extent of the conversation in a few choice words. There is no need to be coy or clever just straight up. The global fascination is comforted by a dignified unison.

Email retains form and is lengthy. The notion at times is ideological and even taboo. Yet texting has a methodology of on and off. One texts and then awaits the quick response. Emails are directed responses but texting is a substitute for a conversation. Emails are responsive not dialogical. Telephones are the original texting. Letters emails and voicemails are all long term investments. The response is awaited. An email is a chain of formal details surrounding a faithful exposition. While dumbed down from letters, emails still represent a formal stature of communication. Texting is a dialogue from a distance. It’s informal because it’s a verbal conversation translated into textuality. It is novel and never before written messaging. Short bursts of verbalism quenched into sequential rapid responses.

The texting novelty transformed conversations into cyber imaging. No face just words cultivated the stage. While this has extended to social media platforms, it was a chat box between two friends across town. Calling was an option but even that has become a formality. Texting is the replacement for connecting two cups and a string. Invisible conversation. Robotic verses sent to enable further discussion after hangout time. Communicating in code after hours. Texting is a technical masterpiece allowing digital conversation to replace actual conversation. The same jokes are sent over text maybe even a pic or a gif for some fun. It’s narrowing distance with digital everyday dialogue.

As everyday conversation, it incorporates the slang and shorter sentences are written. Yet as the conversation becomes more fast paced quicker replies are necessary. Shorter words are required. Ttyl, gtg, and even the letter k. While these may be things people say out loud it is more conducive to the textual world. People may say lmao but most people do not say btw. Texting becomes even faster and lighter than verbalism. It becomes even more simplistic. Articulating a point in a few words. It is like the game to name a song in the fewest notes. A quick text sent for the reply to shoot back. The encoded lingo occupies a special place for the digital dialogue. It has surpassed verbalism. No longer are full sentences need. People understand the code. Abbreviations are centerstage in a textual dialogue. Abbreviations are the link to symbols. Knowing the abbreviations represents a keen knowledge of the oral chain.

Abbreviations lead to symbols. It is responding in the simplest way. It is replacing abbreviations with a sign. Sending an emoji to highlight an emotion or simplify the message. Ideographs are far more straightforward than textual syntax that requires explaining. Symbols are the next stage in the evolution of linguistics. The symbols correspond to a development of sign language that extends beyond the hand signaling. Symbols are gestured in pictographs. They are perceived and deduced. They are imprinted and clear. No need to read through a sentence but comprehend by the picture. Just as a picture explains the moment so does the emoji. It will never replace language but may replace communication. The digital pictographs are comprehensive and interpretive. For now, emojis are for emotional emphasis but soon may replace textuality entirely.

Clarity and simplicity are key to the texting age. Texting is the digital replacement for verbalism but with VR maybe texting will decay with the fictional world becoming a hub of virtual discussions. Currently chat boxes for gamers exist but with full immersive dives the meta-sphere may become a hub for quasi-verbalism. A symbiosis between the verbal and digital. The resurgence of signs as a communicative device isn’t out of stupidity but clarity and simplicity. Fast paced conversation and discussion. Globalized unity and linguistic formalism.

Human Nature

By: Jonathan Seidel

Orality and laconian real and hyperreality

Lacanian real embodies a spiritual unknown in the depths of human reality. Reality is run by symbolic representation to signify objects. Language is a construct of interpretation. Signs are models of socially constructed communication. Yet the real manifests behind the veil of social experimentation. The real is stable and neutral in its professed perpetuity. Yet the real is universal. It transcends the modalities dividing human collaboration. It unifies humanity in connective maturity.

A world fragmented by otherness is burdened to dispel us-them paradigms. Slogans and billboards highlight the difference evident in human objectification. Even if we were all blind, we would find variance. Our tribalistic tendencies would not vanish without sight. Our ears would pick up on the vocal divergences and place the lisps in a camp. Those who pronounce words differently or with a horrid accent would be divided. Even to remove all sensory qualities. To be a lame deaf mute would be “less than human” but primitive as may be avails any sense of otherness. Yet such a figure is a vegetable unable to calculate for himself the presence of otherness. By virtue of recognizing something beyond himself with faculties beyond himself would trigger otherness tribalism if possible.

Humanity is destined to designate detriment. To find fault in others. A scapegoat for his own inadequacy. Absent accountability, he lives blissfully. Radically abrasive in his own insecurities musters opposition to disagreements. Hiding in his own shadow. Commonalities to shield his own uniqueness as a target of denigration. Finding comfort in conformity. Constructing false personas to fit an agenda. To fit a paradigm foreign to the self. Boxing in personal credentials to make others comfortable. At the expense of the self. Not doing any favors. The result is a discombobulated unrecognizable self. Coercing self appraisal in hope of external acceptance.

Signification is culturally relative. Language is a privatized personalization. A communitarian hub of social cohesion. Man eclipses the difference verbally. He transforms from primitive to cognitive. The elemental connection mutually advances with sonic synchronization. The ability to communicate aligns thoughts and intent. It professes a singularity capturing the binary linkage. To connect us through qualified symbolism. Though language can be weaponized to divide it is the sole mode of enunciation. We relate to the world via this common verbalization. It enables briefs to be pronounced and properly understood. Silence hinders such a capability.

Language is a social construct embedded in human ontology. Man’s inclinations are surreal in the presence of absolute liberty. Yet he is a slave to his desire. Stooped in an egotistical battle, he fancies societal implications. He is told by the uneducated what is important and works to achieve these means. A checklist to complete in a lifetime. Aspiring to be the film fiction character charming the audience. The protagonist manipulates the masses to seek mundane matters to complete the self. A way of life for all man. Such influence is endemic and toxic. As if Hollywood is tactically puppeteering society. An elitist cabal of sorts with unimaginable power and influence.

Film has played a big part on people’s conception of life. Trying to turn their lives into video games. Wishing to be those characters in real life. Fiction is translated into reality in its merited appropriation. Yet film is not the first menace but the most prudent. While novella discusses hypotonic plot lines, the imaginative clause keeps a fictional basis to it. There is an element of uncertainty. Film tricks the mind. It presents fiction as fact, the illusionary are real. People who lie for a living are the pinnacles of excellence. Their constant media and central focus captures their deep importance to the people. Their voice carries unsolicited weight in the minds of their listeners. The public’s admiration for such shadiness is despicable.

Role models and fame have been confused. The wise are no longer the older generation but the liars. Those who change their minds each and everyday. Those who cannot properly provide a legit political point. Just pundits with excuses. An irritating selfishness consuming society. The greedy elites pass on their corrupted living tips down to the masses. Mind boggling does not begin to explain the dire situation. Taking advice from repeated talking points. Inverse psychology provide relief to the public’s self image. The pubic believes in their own free will but such ideological motivation was predetermined via hypnosis. It was planted in the mind by a clever magician. A spectacular ruse that has ensnared almost everyone. The few proud escapees fled waking up from the matrix.

Wealth is power. It has always been and may always be. Wealth provides access. Especially in our technologically advanced world a handful of people can attain the results unbeknownst to the masses. To afford special privileges places one in a category of their own. Work costs money and for the right price anyone can be sold. Money is necessary so are aesthetics. If money is important it ought to be used wisely. To spend on materialistic nonsense is illusionary. When the masses are hypnotized to believe that price means speciality. It also means scarcity. The way something looks and successfully advertised redirects the public’s attention toward stuff as the object of importance.

The ego needs to be acknowledged. Some clever capitalists brainwashed the public to believe that certain stuff is more important. Not just important but to save face in society. Encumbered by peer pressure, we need to satisfy the status quo. Obsessed with respect. Such respect apparently is joined with conformity. The outcast is the outlier. Fall in line or be scorned. Do what is expected of you. How dare you be unique and isolate from the preferred standards. Trends are set by trendsetters. There is no positivistic apparel (except wool and leather). Kennedy was a trendsetter. As a national icon even a global one he took a step back and decided not to wear a hat in office. Though unofficially ended in the 20s, the most powerful man not wearing one meant something.

Many trendsetters are unaware of their influence. Their goal is not to coerce the masses. People have their fashion agendas but their power is in their publicity. As icons they carry major weight. Their profound wisdom is a subjective opinion. A declarative statement. When the unintentional becomes a living reality. The trendsetter is long gone. The link is marred by social approval. The trendsetter lights the match and it spreads like wildfire. The forest is frozen in place watching in horror as the fire consumes it whole. Some trunks survive the blaze but clinging to little life remains. Alone trying to stand tall amidst the terminal depressive loneliness. Mass hypnosis cannot easily be overpowered. Immunity to the toxin is with the antidote. Internal dialogue and introspection can formally bewilder the self past the illusionary trend.

Foucauldian power argues for immanence of power. It is force relations or connections not hierarchical power. The continued democratic liberalism persists in this binary feature. The Marxist oppressor is presented in the intersectionality of excessive victimization. Placed in categories by privilege: race, nationality, and gender. People do weaponize their afforded liberties but presenting this dynamic further divides the people. The stigmatization of groups by virtue of biology is an unfair characterization. Stereotypical normatively furthers false meta-narratives. Agenda driven oppressed people reinforces systemic discrimination. There are bad eggs but the illusion of tyrannical targeted tragedies is gravely mistaken. There is no nationwide pogrom destined to wreak havoc.

Strawmanning people by their genetic makeup attacks their ontology. Privileges provided are less the reality and more the fiction. Yet this fiction becomes reality the more it’s preached. The more discrimination is pronounced the more ire is returned. Race becomes the central focus of relationship. It becomes the centre of one’s being. It deconstructs the entire premise of MLK’s thinking. There are obvious issues but introducing a racial ideology is less a protest and more a revolution. It’s not imperfection but eternal damnation. One side is fated to mistreat and misjudge the other. There is no reconciliation and so the sole solution is to mark that inferiority and divisive failure.

Apologists stand tall fortifying their decaying wall. Jericho will fall. The system must be preserved. The core to protected. The market is pure and the misfortunes are incidental and consequential. It happens, such is life. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. Everyman for himself in the world of economic elevation. It is only money, there are more important values to be honed. Not everyone is born on equal footing. Not every plate is provided the same quantity of produce. A rat race to the bottom is a disfigured monstrosity on display. A competition that cares little for the humanity itself. The ontological notions of enlightenment are thrown down the drain in the pursuit of the defensible core.

The mantras of old need to be revamped. Their impact ought to be actively endorsed. A monolithic echo chamber of archaic dogma to surplus the very freedom supported. The ideas embedded in the national consciousness to be partially implemented. Only permit that which follows the partisan thinking. Freedom is limited in its care for the concerned. It's restriction not against tyranny but against social independence. Hypocrisy stirs in the light of an agenda he has sought. A seeming selectivity for his goals. Preach the old ideas while muttering the enlightenment ideals. Prioritising when it pleases the desire.

Impossible harmony encircles the unyielding power dynamic. The frame game constructs this stumbling reality. Stooped in propagandizing the perceived reality is tainted with tribalistic division. Relations falter as appearances take the primary seat over attributes. Our instinctive reactions rationalize immediately and classify by surface information. The deeper experience is voided by semantics. No longer is the unique internalized as an individual amongst himself but as a group with baggage. Identification is a yellow star on the chest announcing one’s affiliation. The land of opportunity is regulated to some fortunate. The goal isn’t to forget the disparity but not base it in dogmatic quotations. It’s a mechanical issue not an ontological one.

Liberation from the tragic horrors of the past radicalizes into a beast bound for nowhere. A false eden on the horizon deluded by euphoric toxins. The flood gates are opened and all is wiped away. The walls crumble en route to the palace of secrecy. Rules are outdated and are to be voided. Anarchic tendencies fuel the rage of the liberators. Mechanical alterations are not sufficient and the broken piece needs to be replaced. A new world order is necessary to refashion the corrupted society. The socialized rules are no longer relevant nor capable. The revolution must prevail over the archaic limits.

Symbolic representation is clouded social construction. Relativism at its very best. Buying into the ideas that fit the selfish stream. It is all encased in a matrix of desire. A will of encoded DNA bound to entertain the agenda paved for him. His fate was set. Without any block nor obstacle his mind will never change. His perception if fixed, fixated on the diabolical other. The social order is imprinted into a circus of ideas. Each side defending their post never wishing to put down their arms. The real stands beyond angelic and untainted. Yet the symbolic seducer shuts the greyish eyes for robotic continuation.

Sipping The Prestige

By: Jonathan Seidel

Varieties of symbolic interpretation: lavish religious wine

Wine is historically symbolic in many regards as a model of elite utility. It’s effortful creation and cognitive ramifications dually place it in a specific area. Wine acts as a special beverage for the tip of the iceberg. Differing by society and yet has incredible consequences for the perceptive society.

Beginning with religious societies, Christianity uses wine in the transubstantiation process of deifying Jesus. Wine is sacramental to the ritualistic progression. For Catholics, during this ritual the wine becomes or resembles the blood of Christ. Other Christians permit drinking but forbid drunkenness. Similarly, Islam prohibits drinking wine describing it as the work of Satan. Wine is sacramental but in the opposite regard. It is forbidden for its devilish ramifications. For Jews, wine is necessary for sacred rituals. There is even a sacred day to get drunk. Religious spheres both concern wine as a sentimental piece to their values. Wine is either a luxury form to sanctify or to revere. Alongside the divine doctrinal model, wine’s creation and consequence act as their imparted message.

Monarchs feasted with wine at their lavish parties. Days-on-end drinking till their minds fainted from mental exhaustion. Some monarchs challenged guests to out-drink them to demonstrate their manhood. Wine was a gift for the kingdom. A beverage for the wealthy and ruling class. An expense the average individual could not afford nor saw it as necessary. The working class was too busy working and drinking would muddle his efforts. Drinking affords loads of labor and thus costs a multitude. Manpower only compensated by rich aristocrats. Yet the wealthy feasts were headed by the ruler. His centerpiece gave him priority. A demonstration of status and power.

Today, wine is affordable to most democratic citizens. The capitalist market has procured vast different wineries with a collection of wines from cheaper ones to expensive ones. The aging of wine is generally the barometer of price. Nevertheless anyone can buy wine at their local delivery store. The availability of wine enables people to take part in an ancient elitist party. Most do not think this way. The easy routine of purchasing from the market affects the desire to consume it. There are wives who drink a cup of red wine in the evening or pouring a glass for a meal with friends. Yet both differ from men who will drink beer in the evening and at a barbecue. Cheap wine may even be used for cooking as it has become acquainted with the grocery aisle. Supermarkets market wine as a grocery commodity instead of wine stores that try to salvage its prestige.

Prohibition acted as an attempt to limit wine consumption. Less alcohol less disorienting behavior less devilish influence and less danger. Black markets fueled and religious communities were given exceptions that they readily abused.  Nonetheless the ban lasted for a decade. Alcohol was a joyous substance. Yet perceived in the deepest disaster. Alcohol can lead to drunk driving disorderly conduct and other felony actions. Under the influence is dangerous. Yet the rule was not that one could not drink that much but they could not be sold. Alcohol could be drunk but this would raise flags of its origin. People moved to their houses and focused more on sacramental wine than brewed beer. The social shifts manifested a varied dogmatic vision of America.

Wine is to French identity as beer is to American identity. Yet wine plays a pivotal role in personal encounter. Wine is more prestigious than beer. It is more expensive and dined with more dignity. Wine has this prestige because of the historical notions. With everyone able to attain it did not negate its underpinnings. The poor can afford but it is yet inferior to beer. Beer is the alcohol of the layman. A drink at the pub or with the boys watching the ball game. It is celebratory but less politely so. Wine is for the diligent and pompous. In overthrowing the polite wine raging beer has taken centerstage as the nation’s art.

Scotch has taken a hold of business outlets. The esteemed suit wearing lawyer will carry a whisky in his office. At the bar he may quickly order a scotch still in his businessman mindset but once descended into the pub scene a little impaired will move to beer. Beer is the other non-business style drink. A beverage of cheap layman. A drink anyone can partake and party. Scotch is for the super prestigious. It has cheapened over the years but it still paves its way as a blazer drink. Still, festivities will call upon wine. Wine has its feminine wiles but it is a manly beverage. It does hold strong to the highest class of business and relaxation.

It is the slow consumption of wine at a lavish restaurant. Each alcohol has its places and time. Wine is more flexible. It historically has expanded to all places whether social or religious atmosphere. A model of the gods practiced on earth. Wine is savored and complimented. It is controlled and cooled. Relying on the relaxing scene of the ideological oeuvre.

Ancient Dreamers

Dreams symbols and prelinguistic societies

While it is still up for debate how language emerged it is pretty much accepted that our ancestors didn’t grunt. While they may not have had an alphabet they did have a linguistic system. One based on symbols than grammar. Symbolism points to objects in sight. There is no sound that is necessary to describe it. Insofar as symbolic orientation precedes the syntax. Non-verbal aspects of communication precede a grammatical construction. The interpreter was able to signify the object and thus master its function in society. Grammar becomes relevant as society advances and becomes more complex.

Human language began symbolically before syntax was introduced. While language even in its primitive essence was more than grunts, sounds did define reality. They weren’t mute but their comprehensiveness was limited. As knowledge expanded so did symbolic linguistic. Symbolic illustration is realistic representation not solely ritualistic. To communicate objects need signification. Symbolic behaviour is a method of comprehending reality. A method of conclusive cohesive understanding. Palaeolithic era humans had symbolic features of considering the world they lived in. Developing a culture via tools and art. Their method was restricted but demonstrated a model of communication. Images and illustration found signification in a structuralist collective unit. Symbols emerged from an enhanced consciousness translating reality into smaller boxes. Complexity needed collective unification to overcome. Whether it be for food or shelter.

Symbolic behaviour is found amongst animals. Yet humans are much more sophisticated. Whether through evolution or their anatomical structure, the more exposure to technology and building the more necessary symbolic linguistics. Transmission to the next generation to continue to build was innate ensuring evolutionary continuity. It was a learnt step in the process of accomplishing the homeostatic yearning. The importance was not how to say something but that something was said. The best way was to point it out in order to properly administer the functional superiority. In the simplicity of survival, grammar was not the most important aspect. It was also more culturally cohesive. The same symbols were used for the various ideas of the culture. The culture had a symbolism that superseded any ritual element. It is only after dispersion and communicative complexity that grammar become more of a force amongst humans.

Dreams are in the unconscious they precede and succeed man. The unconscious eludes contemporary science and even Jung was baffled at its tremendous prowess. Whether repressed desires or future events both sides of the coin hypothesise an unconscious openness to conscious phobia. The dreamer is an elaborated vast revelation of concepts that the mind struggles to divulge to the individual. It is a symbolic representation akin to the palaeolithic artwork of symbolic linguistics. The dream is its own language game to curb the messaging. It is easy to translate similar to the artwork. If the experts of their time could do it so can the experts of our time. The unconscious is surmised as a foreign region of reality. It is the underlay of brain activity. Unveiled in colours instead of logic. The symbolic aptitude speaks to a primitive humanity. Structural affinity encases human evolution. Language is a conscious motif. A model of external communication with others. A dream is an internal metric for self identification. The unconscious need not meet speech as it need pecker at the internal vacuum.

The unconscious is not intellectually deficient. It instead recognises the complexity of humanity. Language cannot automatically explicate its source. While the aspiration is for the conscious mind to pick up on the simplicity of the request, the mind is overloaded with circumstantial evidence. The dream world is a state of motionless fluidity. There is no adaptation since human evolution never made that leap in the unconscious. The symbolic is preliterate but also is more extensive. It artistically denotes in broad strokes. It does not fling the idea to the mind but allows it to deconstruct in stages. Symbols allow for pause and realise. For the individual to venture to understand his dream. The vision is underwhelmed when it is unveiled slowly. It heeds to a primitive era that understands the cinematic flow. An internal dialogue absent verbalism. A state devoid of comprehensive deduction. Neatly conveyed in the colourful order of repressed coordination.

Cultural translation is a dreamworld’s fantasy. It is an internal matrix. The self may struggle to interpret but the mind is hovering along for the proactive conception. Salving the conscious mind from the horrid full power possibility. Shackled into the unconscious to be divulged by unveiling the symbol. Churn away from the usual symbols in society. The unconscious is not a conscious copy. It has its own rules and its symbols are culturally held not societally relative. The symbolic sensitivity correlates with the mind’s structuralist approach to drum construction. The symbols are necessarily a foundation of the individuals persona manifested outwardly. A foreign substance to the verbal creature. Yet not to the psychoanalytic professional. An expert in symbolic translation. The individual’s ignorance is similar to a Christian baffled at Jewish symbolism or vice versa. The symbolism is unique to the threshold. Even non-observant Jews to certain rituals. The foreign nature is the disconnect. The same with the symbolic and the verbal.

Did preliterate Neanderthals understand their dreams better? Maybe not. It is unclear. Yet our disinterest in cave art and ignorance to hieroglyphics follows an alphabetic grammatical mindset. The complexity of grammatical sensation churns symbols in particular ways. Seeming sexual innuendos are not always the proper explanation. “Primitive” models of signification thwart forward as the structuralist foundation. Realistic manifestations of the personal impression of events may be sullied with preconceived notations. Mistranslations come from the conscious mind. What contemporary rationality would interpret but that is not how the symbolic world operates. Extensive symbolism undermines the original connotation. The mind works wonders. The brain is still a fascinating study for scientists. A man is mortal but his brain can interpret ancient symbols or anticipate a cataclysmic event. The horrifying truth is the vague assumptions we have. Nevertheless, the psychoanalyst acts as this expert to aid the dreamer through this revelation. Symbolically associating the dream with a genuine conclusion.

Why is this the case? It may be biological and it may be social. The former is an easier answer. Humans were symbolic culture before they became grammatical ones. The use of structuralist signification was a method communication that transmitted through the generations. Even if it was lost in the open it was a major facet of the unconscious. At night humans remembered their origin of symbolic representation. Today’s ignorance is due to routine absence. On the other hand, the social point is still important. While grammatical alphabets with nuanced sounds do hold more prestige, this does not take away from the consistent symbolism. The reason people misinterpret their dreams is because they are used to contemporary symbols applied congruently. Only issue being, the internal dreamworld does not operate like the natural one. Whether there is a uniform consistency to every individual or within every individual it is on the expert to sniff out the code. The symbolic layout is to be divulged slowly and cleverly. It is a maze of misappropriation so long as the verbal soundings take initiative.
