Dreaming Big

By: Jonathan Seidel

Unconscious as the hermit breeching societal routine.

The normative symbolism entrenched in society is not necessary due to the unconscious’ magical ability but the rational faculty’s seduction to the societal routine. The unconscious is liberated from any societal coercion. It presents the issue to the dreamer with fluid credibility.

The unconscious mind is objective in some sense. It is brutally honest about the true self disassociated from any public discontent. Public conformity is a conscious choice to save face. Over time this becomes normative. Routine behaviour bemoans the genuine wish lost in the unconscious. The unconscious preserves the genuine nature and formative dreams. Unaware of the shifting conscious perspective. Recluse to ensure solidified normatively. Conscious propels the self with fears and insecurities to the forefront. The unconscious undermines this blockage with honest fluidity.

While the rational mind is capable of more aware decisions it is also dually demented with expected habitation. The rational mind is a force that controls the subject. His mind prevents the real insecurities persisting so it clouds with less impactful issues. Childish propaganda to overpower the self’s aspiring unconscious salvation. Yet it is not the subject’s fault. It is his exposure to society. His rational hyper-awareness is a double-edged sword. Consumed by society’s demands he internalises the motto and follows through. His rational mind is seduced by the phraseology and language game of society. He is trapped in their shadow game. His mind is induced to conform to the norms he does not truly believe. He is intentionally captured into the game with grave consequences.

Rational coordination is boggled by society’s picture of the normative pedestaled for all to see. It slowly concedes in quick fashion. Adapting for the greatest well being of the self. The brain is protecting the self. Similarly the brain casts off childhood norms for society’s public persona. His mind is synced with societal aspirations. He is a soldier unwilling to break formation. A robot unwilling to alter its programming. He knows better intuitively but rejects it instantly. His gut is no more than a regular motion. It is just a feeling nothing more nothing less. Trust the rational mind it is smart and defensive.

The unconscious is the angel on his left shoulder reminding him of society’s ill. An ascetic demon hellbent on destroying all he has built. His virtue stacked away behind society’s bargain. Brainwashed to live by a set of rules. Promised liberty provided freedom and yet something seems off. Something gnaws at him. So engulfed in societal routine he does not bat an eye. He ignores the thought as a waste. It passes him quickly. An itch that he ceases paying attention to. His conscious mind brings him back to the present. To focus at the task at hand. His mind is pushing off the unconscious intentionally. Warding off the dangerous invader. Conscious it is trying extremely hard to control him to ensure societal conformity.

Conscious is well intentioned. Trying to protect and preserve. He is persistently proactively redirecting his mind to the present moment. Distractions will alert societal police. Extended dazes will be caught by big brother to use against him. Conscious is his mighty shield and defender. Leading the blind lamb to safety. A saintly shepherd protecting his flock. Conscious recognises the holistic picture but is pragmatic about the situation. What is the best way forward. Bending the knee for perpetuated comfort. Conscious submits him to societal demands for his salvation. His aid lighting the tunnel before him as he follows the rest of societal routines. Focused on his path forward. Conscious deduces the daily task and uploads it to his hard drive to fuel energy and aspiring goal.

Conscious is part of the system. A handmaiden of societal education and rehabilitation. Relinquishing the unconscious from red pilling him to stardom. Keeping him sedated in slavish eternity. Unaware of its robotic function. So embedded in the skynet layout, a chip turned on in the highlight of social interaction. Firing off signals in reassessing the situational needs. Adapting functionally to the circumstances immediately. Falling in line to maintain security. Conscious is the angelic side the butler protecting. Habituated to the scene is recognises the trade off. When unconscious rises to imprint doubt conscious fights back. Both are promoting the best, but one is a pragmatist the other a rebel. The rebel only cares for the truth, the pragmatist measures the variables and decides in accordance with the best possibility.

Yet it cannot be subsumed how much conscious has been infected by societal declaration. How much does the converso recall his old way? his individuality? How real is his freedom? Has conscious become so engulfed that he is reading situations automatically? Acting with recourse in the routine demand. What initially began as a quest to salvage him has shrouded him with less autonomy. Conscious is a puppet without realising it. Embedded with the encrypted code to act accordingly as educated through the years. The converso forgets his past and moves forward with societal expression. The sacred private life is mere acting with little recognition of the symbolism. The public impression is thematically central putting him into overdrive to demonstrate fidelity at all costs. Losing his personality for the collective ambition and its commandments.

Unconscious portrayed as the devilish foe is the demarcated propaganda incarnate. Transformed into a threat the he never was. The unsightly pictures emerging in the mind are seen as invaders seeking to torture. Unconscious is a villain persecuting him. It is a coup for total control. Puppeteering for supremacy. Unconscious is branded a traitor and ignored. His works of fiction slowly turn into emotional crises. Such torturous tactics scare him. He hides in his bed sheets covering him from head to toe avoiding any contact with unconscious. Kicking and screaming tops back against the monster. A horned boogyman with evil aspiration. A blatant defence seeking serenity from his endangering dreams. Knowing he must sleep, he calls on conscious to help fight off the lunacy. He optimises their fiction and dehumanises their content.

The journalist trying to reveal the harsh truths to the public is censored. Conscious his closest advisor tells him to ignore the unconscious calling. Unconscious is a witch trying to deceive for personal gain. Unconscious is not the ideal but the darkest side of man dreaming of his aspirations. Yet this is the false depiction. Unconscious is not the deep animalistic lust for prestige. Unconscious marvels in the fictional prosperity. The aspirations are not forlorn possibilities but potential avenues. Unconscious does not reveal the envious wishfulness but the potential. Yet much of the dream narrative is more the storyline itself. Unconscious is a symbolic orientation. The conscious fuelled daydream falters into a realistic persona. The expectation can only be concocted momentarily. Through the dream cycle power over the narrative reduces and the once divine initiative becomes a restricted character in the story.

Fictional messaging is more education than the event itself. The narrative seeps into a coerced drama stooped in doubtful intentions. Finding the self in a plot acting regularly not in ideal form. The ability to transcend the self’s ability for a permanent positive experience is deeply flawed. Dreaming is placing the circumstances in context. It may not play out in the most obvious of scenarios but it is revealing a graver prospect. The longer unconscious, the more seduced into the dream. Waking in shock is the impression and impact of the unconscious message. It could not be, no way, must be wrong. Yet the narrative is a presentation of self to aid in his growth. Unconscious is framing an emotionally charged situation forcing a reaction from the dreamer. It is an intentional of force. Motivated to stimulate a response for change. Unconscious is as a much a heroine in the dark. He is batman to conscious’ superman. Different forces divergently aiding him.

Unconscious is the little voice telling him otherwise. The swift second guessing the primitive track. Following the leader is momentarily starstruck with delusional misunderstanding. Head scratching of the afterthought. Unable to capture that idea. The moment has passed and so has the inspiration. A lighting flash influence that will reemerge in the same form or another. Until the problem is void, unconscious will sack him with more lessons. A parent dropping continuous hints for his child to shift his behaviour, hoping he will figure it on his own. Beating around the bush in this instance salvages the fight of the immediate reaction. Articulating it metaphorically solidifies human pathos as he gradually comes to accept it naturally. It is easy to swat away direct accusations but those gaining traction over time are hard pressed to remove. An inkblot, a stain irreversible.

Unconscious maximises in the dream world. Ineffective in the daylight, Conscious has total control linking him to society. The momentarily lapses are ecstatic openings but it is at night with little awareness that unconscious stalks his prey. The overall impact at night is not permanent. The dreamer is sceptical of its truth. He was asleep it must be rubbish. Even after routine attempts it does alter the mechanistic outlook. Subject to rallying behind unconscious as fact is far gone. Unconscious pushes and pushes habituating themes to inspire him. The greatest moment unfettered by external stimuli is undermined by his lack of focus. He is not present and thus momentarily dead-ish instead of a separate state that seeks to educate truth. Unconscious is a separate realm but is treated as the hellfire visited nightly. Fantastical not representative of human ontology. An unfortunate persona wrongfully attributed.
